Intraoral Camera
Dr. Konikoff and his staff use an intraoral camera so they can give patients a clear picture (literally) of their dental health. This tiny camera aids in the diagnosis of dental problems and serves as an educational tool for patients. As small as a pen, this camera is painlessly moved around inside the mouth while the pictures are displayed for patients to see. By seeing what the dentist sees, the intraoral camera gives our patients a better idea where their problem areas are and what can be done to solve those problems. And by seeing plaque, gum disease, broken teeth and other dental issues firsthand, patients at Konikoff Family Dentistry are better able to understand the procedures that are going to be performed to treat these problems.
