Emelia "Eme" McLennan is native of Virginia Beach and joined Konikoff Family Dentistry in 2007. She began her dental career in 1992 as a Dental Assistant and became a Certified Dental Assistant in 1998. After nine years of Dental Assisting, she was able to pursue her goal of becoming a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2007 and is the proudest Monarch you will ever meet.

Eme treasures the relationships she shares with her patients and treats each patient as she would treat a family member…with patience, compassion and a gentle touch. She strives to provide the highest standard of care for all of her patients and believes that patient education is the cornerstone to achieving good dental health.

Eme resides in Virginia Beach with her husband Frank and has one son and one beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys music, movies and spending time with her family and friends.

Graduated Clara Barton High School for Health Professionals in the Dental Assisting program in 1983.
Graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from SUNY at Farmingdale in 1985.

Ingrid was born in Guyana, South America and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Virginia in 1990 with her husband, now retired US Navy. Ingrid has been working as a Dental Hygienist at Konikoff Family Dentistry since 1991, and as her parents told her, "If you enjoy what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." She loves to follow the motto of caring for the whole person, not just their teeth. When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys relaxing with her family, friends, cooking, and traveling.

Meghan has been a part of the dental field since 2008. However, Meghan started her education and passion for dentistry at a very early age. Her great uncle started the family tradition in 1962 when he opened his own dental practice here in Virginia. Therefore, dentistry has always been a topic of conversation around the dinner table. Meghan is not only passionate about dentistry; she is passionate about the overall health and comfort of her patients. She believes that through education and compassionate care that patients will not only benefit from a healthy mouth but look forward to their dental visits. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, and lifting. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her husband Chris and their beautiful daughter.

Lisa Wetherington is a native of Virginia. She attended Old Dominion University where she graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Lisa joined Konikoff Family Dentistry in 1986. Lisa has acquired the ability to help her patients overcome their dental anxiety by being a compassionate and patient caregiver. Lisa resides in Chesapeake with her husband of 35 years. She has two children. She enjoys the outdoors, music, and her family. Lisa has served as an adult leader with Boys Scouts Pack and Troop 57 and a Band Parent Booster.

Grace has been an active part of the dental field since 1999. She started as a registered dental assistant at age 16 years old, where she quickly became passionate about dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education by becoming a Dental Hygienist. Earning her degree did not come easy, juggling full-time work, full-time mommy, and school life was a challenge. Grace’s determination proves that regardless of the struggles one may face in life, the strength and determination will be the fuel to overcome any obstacle. With the motivation Grace has acquired over the years, she utilizes that passion to help her patients overcome their dental anxiety by building encouragement, confidence, and trust with each patient. Her empathy and understanding nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, arts & crafts, aromatherapy, and spending time with her husband Brian, and their three beautiful children.
